A lot of creams claim to have effects within just 1 or 2 weeks, which is quite unrealistic as most creams will take some time for their effects to be incorporated into the body.

One of the active ingredients of Neostrata is Matrixyl, which is a proven product in the field of anti-aging substances. It works by stimulating the body to produce more collagen, which can be used by the skin to make itself more elastic. This way, it will become more resistant to forming wrinkles.

Retinol or vitamin A, is another ingredient included in Neostrata. This is important in cell regeneration which is required for the skin to produce healthy looking skin cells. Without vitamin A, the body would have a hard time producing new cells, as well as repairing damage to the skin.

Aside from helping the skin repair damages, retinol also acts as an antioxidant which is responsible for eliminating free radicals in the body.
