Looking for yet another reason to use paraben free skin creams?  If you are a man interested in having a child, avoiding infertility is a good motive based on the results of a new study.  

In the most current study, researchers discovered that parabens in the blood and pee had been linked with a rise in DNA damage in male sperm.  The studies have been performed at a male infertility clinic.  Did the parabens trigger the men’s infertility?  The researchers imagine there is good cause to think so.

Parabens are in all kinds of products.  They are also used to preserve foods.  Scientists have been concerned about the rampant use of the synthetic preservatives for decades.  But the food and skin care industries are strong.  They have been able to keep the scientists silent till now.

There are nonetheless plenty of people who are unaware of the toxins they put on their skin each and every day.  As much as 60% of what you put on your skin ends up in your bloodstream.  If your close friends don’t realize about the risks, pass the word.  The poisons employed in cosmetics can cause cancer, nerve damage, infertility, depression and a variety of other health problems.

Manufacturing a paraben free product is only the beginning.  Producers need to stop using toxic elements of all varieties.  Right up until they do, sticking with all natural skincare products is your only option.

The EU’s requirements for skin care products are higher than those in the US.   The EU has outright banned 1000′s of poisons.  Only a few elements have been prohibited by the United States.

There are no laws mandating a manufacturer to prove that their lotions are safe or effective.   Safety is the main thing to consider, but it would also be nice to know that a company’s effectiveness statements are justified.

It can require a lot of analysis to locate a good company, one that considers the safety of their products and conducts testing to confirm their effectiveness.  It takes even longer to find a company that does not conduct animal testing.  In my opinion, the effort will pay off in the end.
